Curacorn® Corn & Callus Treatment

What is Curacorn®?

Curacorn® is a revolutionary podiatry treatment that uses a sterile gel injection to cushion painful corns and pressure areas from inside the skin. By targeting the source of pressure beneath the skin, Curacorn® can help prevent hard skin from reforming, offering long-lasting relief without the need for bulky padding or frequent clinic visits.

How Does It Work?

Corns and calluses develop when the bony structures of the foot create pressure on the skin’s inner layers. Curacorn® places a small gel cushion between these layers, stopping the skin’s defensive reaction and reducing or eliminating the formation of hard skin.

A small amount of local anaesthetic is used during the procedure to ensure maximum comfort. The treatment itself usually takes no longer than a routine podiatry appointment, although larger areas may require additional time.

Benefits of Curacorn®

Curacorn® offers more than just pain relief — it provides a long-term solution that can improve daily comfort, mobility, and confidence. By addressing the cause of the problem rather than just the symptoms, this treatment can make a real difference to your quality of life.

  • Long-lasting relief from painful corns and calluses
  • Reduces the need for frequent podiatry visits
  • Can help avoid the use of pads or protectors in footwear
  • Safe, hygienic, and minimally invasive
  • May improve mobility and overall quality of life

What to Expect

You will be required to attend a consultation with a Curacorn®-trained podiatrist at Teesside Podiatry Clinic before treatment. During this assessment, your suitability will be confirmed and your individual treatment plan explained.

Most patients notice improvement after just one treatment. In some cases, additional sessions may be needed to achieve the best results. Following treatment, you’ll be advised to:

  • Avoid putting pressure on the treated area for 48 hours
  • Keep the foot dry for the first 24 hours
  • Refrain from driving immediately after treatment (due to the local anaesthetic)

HEAR WHAT PATIENTS
HAVE TO SAY ABOUT CURACORN®

"I can’t praise Teesside Podiatry enough. Hiking is my hobby but sore toes has been limiting what I can do. TP was recommended and the treatment I receive has been beyond impactful. Regular podiatry along with a curacorn treatment means I have gone from taping all my toes on every walk (and spending a fortune on compede, moleskin and zinc tape) to needing no tape and I am pain free. Just two weeks after Curacorn I have no pain from corns. 100% would recommend!”

"I feel like a new man - I’ve started playing golf again, something I’d stopped due to the pain in my feet. Now I have no worries and can enjoy life more."

"I haven’t needed to have my corns treated in over a year - this treatment is incredible."

"Since having Curacorn® done I’ve been able to continue my life pain-free. It really has made a huge difference."

Suitability

Curacorn® is suitable for most adults over 18. For patients under 18, treatment must be authorised by a doctor or consultant. Every case is unique, and your podiatrist will discuss your expected results and create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
